“Let them be one as we are one, so that the world may know that you sent me
and have loved them even as You loved Me.”
United Prayer for the Fulfillment of the Great Commission:
WE pray for these things in general, but theres’ something special that happens in our hearts when we pray specifically and begin to intentionally work together on the monumental task of reaching the unreached. When we focus our prayers on a specific people group, we begin to hear God’s heart for those people. They move from being mere statistics to being real people who, like us, desperately need to meet Jesus. We have the privilege of labouring together with those called to live among a people, adding our focused intercession to theirs, believing that Jesus will soon gain his inheritance among them.
Fruitfulness flows from Unity: As praying people, we have begun to understand that real fruitfulness in ministry flows from intimacy with Jesus Christ. He is the vine and we are branches. We’re increasingly discovering that as we are united with Christ, we’re united to one another as well. Our unity with one another is one of the major conditions Jesus gives for successful witness.
“Let them be one as we are one, so that the world may know that you sent me and have loved them even as you loved me.” (John 17:23)
24:14 Inherit the Nations is a way for us to pray for missions in unity, allowing us to actively obey the Lord’s wishes and multiply the impact of our prayers through intentional partnership.
The Goal of 24:14 Inherit the Nations is to create partnerships between houses of prayer/prayer groups (across the nations) and teams of field workers who are living among or focused on an unreached people or place with the aim of igniting movements to Christ, disciples making disciples, fellowship birthing fellowships, and movements starting other movements to Christ.
Our goal is to have prayer groups praying specifically for unreached people groups/places over one year in close relationship with the front-line teams putting feet to those prayers.
