” I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am!” to a nation that was not called by My name.”
There are four PRACTICAL commitments to 24:14 Inherit the Nations
A weekly, local prayer meeting (1 hour minimum) dedicated to your unreached people group/unreached place (Note: It’s okay to miss a week occasionally for holidays or travel—the point is that your regular, weekly rhythm includes praying for this unreached people or place)
Keeping a prayer journal for your unreached people/place, sharing key points weekly or bi-weekly with your field team
A monthly conference call (one member of your group) with other 24:14 Inherit the Nations partners
Regular communication (preferably weekly or biweekly) with your field worker(s)/team. (Note: Field Workers are not always available but will be connecting as frequently as is practical.)
The 5th Commitment
The most important commitment of 24:14 Inherit the Nations is this: to carry a nation, a people that you’ve never met in your heart. To be God’s heart for a people far off, as it says in Isaiah 65:1, “I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that was not called by My name.”
It’s our hope that the four “practical” commitments will continually empower and reinforce the 5th commitment of carrying a nation that has not heard the name “Jesus” in your heart! Speaking for our whole team, this is our foremost desire: that you’d absolutely fall in love with a nation who has never heard the name of Jesus Christ, and that, working through your love and prayers, the gospel would be declared to them.
